James R. Watson, P.L.S., P.P.
In 1991, EKA Associates was founded by James R. Watson, P.L.S., P.P., who currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to establishing his firm, Mr. Watson was a partner and the Chief of Survey for a prominent, New Jersey based consulting engineering firm. Mr. Watson is the driving force behind EKA Associates.

Robert P. Freud, P.E., P.P.
Robert P Freud, PE, PP joined EKA Associates PA in 2005. Prior to joining EKA Associates PA and helping to establish Sailer and Watson Engineers and Surveyors, Mr. Freud served as a senior Project Manager for a prominent northeastern US civil engineering consulting firm and brings over 12 years of land development consulting experience to the firm.
Mr. Freud provides full service project development consulting including managing clients development needs, detailed design functions and project permitting. He is experienced in site plan, subdivision and engineering projects for variety of municipal, commercial, petroleum industry, industrial, and residential clients throughout New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. Mr. Freud’s experience and expertise with federal, state, and local regulatory compliance evaluations and permitting result in maximum development yield with particular attention to the project’s critical path.
Rob has testified as an expert in the field of Civil Engineering in over 75 different municipalities before Planning Boards, Zoning Boards and Environmental Commissions as well as numerous municipal and county review agencies in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

Wayne K. Applegate, P.L.S.
Wayne K. Applegate joined the firm of EKA Associates, PA in 1996. Prior to joining EKA Associates, Mr. Applegate was employed by a prominent central New Jersey engineering and surveying firm, working in all aspects of land surveying from field crew, data reduction / drafting, field party chief, project manager, finally achieving licensure as a New Jersey Professional Land Surveyor in 1990.
Mr. Applegate also serves as the CAD Systems Administrator and is the webmaster for the EKA Associates website.

Jeffrey D. Cadoff, P.E., C.M.E.
Jeffrey D. Cadoff, PE, CME, joined EKA Associates PA in 2006. Prior to joining EKA Associates PA, Mr. Cadoff served as an Associate Engineer for a prominent central New Jersey civil engineering consulting firm and brings over 22 years of land development and transportation consulting experience to the firm.
Mr. Cadoff provides full service project development consulting including managing clients development needs, detailed design functions and project permitting. He is experienced in site plan, subdivision and engineering projects for a variety of municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential clients throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Vriginia. Mr. Cadoff's experience and expertise with federal, state, and local regulatory compliance evaluations and permitting result in maximum development yield with particular attention to the project’s critical path.
Jeff has testified as an expert in the fields of Civil and Transportation Engineering before Planning Boards and Zoning Boards as well as numerous municipal and county review agencies in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.
